A partir disso, a polícia deu início à apuração formal e acionou o Conselho de Controle de Atividades Financeiras (Coaf) para analisar movimentações consideradas atípicas nas contas do São Paulo. O relatório do Coaf apontou a realização de 35 saques em dinheiro vivo entre 2021 e 2025, que, juntos, somaram R$ 11 milhões. Os dois primeiros saques, no valor total de R$ 600 mil, foram feitos por um ex-funcionário do clube diretamente na boca do caixa. Depois, o São Paulo passou a utilizar empresas de transporte de valores, os chamados carros-fortes, para retirar o dinheiro. O ano de 2024 concentrou a maior parte das movimentações, com 11 saques. Já em 2025, foram identificadas cinco retiradas que somaram cerca de R$ 1,7 milhão.
