The newly released teaser opens with Chris Hemsworth in a reflective state. Visually, the character returns to the short-haired look that defined his appearance in the critically acclaimed Thor: Ragnarok. The central action of the clip is a prayer directed at Odin, played by Anthony Hopkins in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Thor calls for the 'strength of the All-Fathers.' His motivation is clear: he wants to 'fight once more,' 'defeat one more enemy,' and crucially, 'return home to her.' The 'her' in question is Love, Thor's adopted daughter introduced in Thor: Love and Thunder. The full text of the prayer reveals a desire to protect her innocence:

Despite the reference to his daughter, the trailer shows Love safe and sound at home. There is no visual indication in this specific teaser that the villain, Doctor Doom, is targeting her directly.
