Quick Summary#

ESPN officially launched a new streaming service in August 2025 called ESPN Unlimited. This service includes the full suite of ESPN Networks in one package. It is available as a standalone service or as a bundle with Disney+ and Hulu.

The previous ESPN streaming service, ESPN+, has been replaced with the ESPN Select plan. Existing subscribers were moved to this new plan, which features similar content. ESPN Unlimited does not offer a free trial directly, but access is available through a Fubo free trial.

Pricing options include monthly or annual plans, with discounts for annual subscriptions. A bundle including Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN is available for $35.99 per month (ad-supported) or $44.99 per month (ad-free). The service is integrated into the existing ESPN app and is available on various platforms.

Service Details and Rebranding#

The new streaming service, ESPN Unlimited, was officially launched in August 2025. It is designed to provide the full suite of ESPN Networks in a single package. This service is currently available as a standalone subscription or as part of a bundle with Disney+ and Hulu.

Significant changes occurred regarding the previous streaming offering. The service formerly known as ESPN+ no longer exists. It has been replaced by the ESPN Select plan. Subscribers who previously held ESPN+ subscriptions were automatically moved to the ESPN Select plan. The content available on ESPN Select is described as being "pretty much the same" as what was previously offered on ESPN+.

There are two distinct ESPN streaming services available now:

  • ESPN Select: Essentially a reskinned version of the former ESPN+. It does not feature any of the live ESPN channels.
  • ESPN Unlimited: Includes all of the ESPN networks and the content featured on ESPN Select.

Pricing and Subscription Plans#

Subscribers have various pricing tiers to choose from, including monthly or annual payment options. Choosing an annual plan provides a slight discount compared to monthly billing. Alongside the standalone services, there is a discounted bundle option available.

The Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN bundle is offered in two tiers: an ad-supported version for $35.99 per month and an ad-free version for $44.99 per month. Users also have the option to add an NFL+ Premium subscription for enhanced football coverage.

Here is the breakdown of the subscription prices:

  • ESPN Unlimited (Monthly): $29.99 per month
  • ESPN Unlimited + NFL+ Premium: $39.99 per month
  • ESPN Unlimited (Annual): $299.99 per year
  • Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN Bundle (Ad-supported): $35.99 per month
  • Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN Bundle (Ad-free): $44.99 per month
  • Disney+, Hulu, ESPN, and NFL+ Premium (Ad-supported): $45.99 per month
  • Disney+, Hulu, ESPN, and NFL+ Premium (Ad-free): $54.99 per month

Regarding free trials, ESPN Unlimited does not offer any sort of free trial directly. However, users can test the service for free by signing up for a Fubo free trial, which includes access to ESPN Unlimited. This trial lasts for seven days.

Content and Channels 📺#

ESPN Unlimited provides access to all of ESPN's linear networks, totaling 47,000 live events a year, along with original programming. This includes the ability to stream NBA games that air on ABC via the service.

The full list of channels available with a subscription includes:

  • ESPN
  • ESPN2
  • ESPNU
  • ESPNNEWS
  • ESPN Deportes
  • SEC Network
  • ACC Network
  • ESPN on ABC
  • ESPN+
  • ESPN3
  • SECN+
  • ACCNX

Future content additions are also planned. A recent deal with the NFL will eventually bring NFL Network games to the service. In the interim, users can bundle their subscription with NFL+ Premium to access those games and NFL RedZone. Additionally, a new agreement with WWE will bring WrestleMania to ESPN Unlimited sometime in 2026.

Availability and Platforms#

ESPN Unlimited is integrated directly into the existing ESPN app, allowing users to watch content from virtually anywhere. The service is widely available across major platforms.

For mobile users, the app can be downloaded from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. It is also compatible with popular streaming devices such as:

  • Fire TV
  • Apple TV
  • Roku
  • Android TV

Furthermore, the service is accessible on major gaming consoles, specifically the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
